My card was CASE’d from page 27 of the August – December 2021 Mini Catalog. Each week we makeover a card from the current Stampin’ Up catalog and then share it on our Facebook Group. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us. It’s a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. For my card I thought it would be fun to design a cute card using the Flower and Field Designer Series Paper. I have the main supplies listed that I used. I have a tip for you today! My color combination came from the Designer Series Paper I used.

TIPS: The Gilded Leafing is packed tightly in the container and is super light so it can “float” around easily. Open the container carefully and consider storing the leafing in a larger storage container with a lid. This makes the leafing easier to use and also easier to return excess leafing once done.

I had fun making this card. I did add just a few products to make this card. I used the Heart Punch Pack and some Poppy Parade Card Stock. Also used some Stampin’ Blends and the White Perfect Accents which I colored. Decided I am going to be making some smaller versions for my grand kids this year! This one I will give to my very supportive hubby!

I wanted to give my card a fun and cute background with the designer paper that was included in the kit.
So fun playing with the new Blending Brushes! I started off by arranging my cut up strips on the layer.
For my card this month using the kit I just added a few products. I thought the layer needed some fun paper added to it. So, I used the paper in the kit and cut up strips to add to the layer. I love the end result!
I even added some Wink of Stella to the strips, the ears and the nose to jazz it up!

Flowers for Every Season Suite
Long before it was a Covid-19 thing, stampers were masking – in a fun way!
Crafters make masking cool and I’m excited to share this simple and useful stamping technique with you. This card also features several new products from the gorgeous Flowers For Every Season Suite.
Masking is a simple technique that blocks off areas of a project to create white space. It can create a faux layering effect or highlight an area for a greeting or focal point. Masking can be loose and artsy with torn edges or precise straight lines or shapes depending on what you use to create your mask.
