ICS Blog Hop Welcome Spring

It’s the first Wednesday of the month and it’s time for our monthly blog hop!
This month were welcoming spring. I decided I would make an Easter card and a cute little gift bag with some candy in it.

Measurements for the card:
Wisteria Wonder card stock- 8 1/2 by 51/2′ score at 4 1/4
Designer Series Paper- 2 by 5 1/4′

Measurements for the bag:
Designer Series Paper- 4 by 6 1/4′

I added some white ribbon on the edge of the designer series paper to give it more of a finished look. Then decided to add the same ribbon and make a bow. Bows are getting easy for me to make now!

This is just a fun size bag to make and give out. So, many possibilities for this bag. I watch a lot of videos and found this one on Pootles Papercraft channel.

Next stop on your hop is Megan Thompson!

Thank you for stopping by!

Just Because Ribbon Card

Today over at the SSINKspiration Blog our focus is on ribbon. There are so many ways to use ribbon to add to your projects, I decided to use ribbon in a way that I have only tried a couple times. I discovered that the thick whisper white card stock worked better for me to use than the regular whisper white. I love the bright card that I came up. A card like this is great for using up your scraps, I could have gone with more colors. I liked just using the two different colors.

Measurements: Daffodil Delight card stock- 8 1/2 by 5 1/2′ score at 5 1/4
Thick Whisper White card stock –  3 3/4 by 5′

I forgot to include Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack # 133787

The answers can all be found by searching in my blog

Questions:
1.Name one of the products I used from my tag blessed by you.
2. Give me the item number of one of the products under this weeks weekly specials.
3. On my washi tape thank you card give me one of the measurements for the card.
I hope you have fun and will participate in my first blog scavenger hunt!

Case Catalog Going Global

SSInkspirations today were featuring projects we cased from a current catalog. Case stands for Copy And Share Everything. As a demostrator I share so many ideas for my projects to my customers. I admit the one I forget about the most is using the ideas from our catalogs. As you can see from my pictures I just basically took the layout and changed it using the colors I wanted to use. I have said this before but I am so glad that I made the decision to be back on this awesome design team! It really keeps me accountable to keep sharing on my blog! Especially like today I wanted to make a special card for a special person!

The card I wanted to case was with this stamp set called Going Global.
My dad is in a hospital miles and miles away and I knew I wanted to make him this get well card.

Don’t you just love how easy a card like this really can be? I used very little product. I know he will like his card when my sister delivers it to him! It will put a smile on his face!

Card measurements:
Very Vanilla Card Stock – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score at 4 1/4
Going Places Designer Series Paper- 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (I just glued this piece down to the card base)
