Today I am grateful that my Dr did give me another cortisone shot in my shoulder. He hopes this is the last one needed.
Today for day 10 of my challenge I want to share this cool video done from Stampin’ Up! to keep us all inspired with different techniques.
I haven’t done this technique for a long time. Time to get out the supplies and design a card soon.
Today I am grateful today for my dr appt for tomorrow. Having some shoulder issues and need to go have a followup appt. Grateful cause I just called today and expected it would be at least a few weeks to get in. When the receptionist told me tomorrow I was shocked! Most of the times it’s the little things that we need to be grateful for.
Today I wanted to share how I found about rubber stamping and Stampin’ Up! on day nine of my blog challenge.
18 years ago when I was living in IL a friend from my church asked me to come to her stamping party. I was excited to be asked to come. My first words to her was “Is this a postage stamp party?” I had no clue what she was talking about. she explained to me its making cards and its fun. I said, “I am not creative in that way”. I decided I would still go and check it out. I had a blast at the party.
The demonstrator was patient with me as I had lots of questions for you as you can imagine not being creative with these products. I remember not feeling too overwhelmed and it was fun. I loved the feeling I got with the instant gratification as I started creating my card and how quickly I was actually stamping and making this card. As, you can see I still have and cherish my very first card. I know its not perfect…. But, its handmade by me!
Fast forward three years from the party and we moved here to AZ. I was invited to a Stampin’ Up! party by my friend Tina. Went to the party and signed up to be a demonstrator shortly after that JUST for the discount. I was NOT going to show the products, have parties and just order for myself. That didn’t last long. From my first open house here at my house within a month of signing up I knew I could do this and my love for the products and experiencing that first time of their stamping moment with my customers I knew I wanted to share these products and have fun! I started earning free stamp sets within three months of starting my business!
Fifteen years now I still have the passion to inspire others and help them find or use their creative side. Some customers are more creative than me and I get inspired from them!
Grateful today for being introduced to this wonderful form of art called rubber stamping!
