I hope you are enjoying our Coffee Break Blog Hop along with a cup of coffee or tea. I personally like a lot of creamer with my coffee! I’m hopping with fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. You may have arrived from Rhonda’s blog. She had a fabulous project!
Today’s hop features the Coffee Break designer series paper (dsp) with coordinating Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cup framelits. With 12 patterns to select from on 6 double sided sheets, our blog hop projects may or may not include coffee themes. The opposite sides of the dsp usually feature a complimentary pattern like strips, circles or asymmetrical prints that may be used instead of the coffee patterns.
I decided my color combo Garden Green, Crumb Cake to coordinate with the colors in the designer series paper layers I choose.
If you struggle with what color to use when you sit down to design a project the tip I have is to use the colors based on the designer series paper your using. This stamp set, framelets and designer series paper are retiring soon! Don’t miss ordering them if you love the projects you see during the blog hop!
Please add a comment and let me know what you liked about my design.
Thanks for hopping with us. Now click on the next image to zoom to Sandy’s blog to see her project ti inspire us!
All the supplies used in my design can be ordered through my online store which are listed below the names of the hoppers. Also I have included where the inspiration came from for my card.
If you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I would be happy to have you join my D’S Stamping Team USA Click Contact above to get the conversation started. Thanks!
Nice card 🙂
Darla, great card! I think it’s all the layers that ‘makes’ this card. Thanks for sharing.
Super card, Darla! Love the beans watermarked on the background. Will be casing this card!
I really like that our dsp is double sided so we have lots of coordinating colors and patterns to create focal points and backgrounds quickly. You did a nice job showcasing this suite!
Love that sentiment! If only it were true – LOL!
Great card! I love the layout!
I really like the color combination of this DSP, especially the combination of Garden Green and Soft Sky.
Love your card Darla, it is fun paper to work with and you gave a great tip on how to pick your coordinating colours. Thanks for sharing.
Great use of the DSP and framelits.
