When I think of designing cards like these I always reach for my designer series paper.
This was so easy to make. I just cut my dsp layer to 5 by 4 1/4 and cut it with my trimmer at 3 inches. Turned it over so now I have both sides showing. Gotta love our 2 sided paper!

I decided for my card I wanted to feature some of the designer series paper that is on sale right now!
I love the Moroccan DSP. I wanted to use the Acorny Thanks stamp set too so I combined them both to design my card! These acorns are fun to make and with the use of the punch it makes it easy to punch them out.

Time for our monthly blog hop! This month were all featuring different techniques! We hope you will learn a few as you hop along! Of course, its always good to refresh your mind on techniques you already know.
The one I chose to do is water coloring. I love the look of this technique. This is a quick way to add soften to your cards. There are several different ways to water color too. I have chosen to make my card by using the aqua painter filled with water in an ink pad.
I really like the color combo I came up with too.
I water colored in Emerald Envy on water color paper.
The card base is Mint Macaroon. The designer series paper and smaller layer layer is Flirty Flamingo.
