These are the cards I designed for a swap that I participated in recently. It had been a long time since I had been a part of a big swap like this. I had to design 21 cards. Since I did that many cards I got in the mail 21 different ideas from all the other demonstrators. I decided to do two groups so I got even more cards now for ideas to use for my business for my stampin events.
This is one of the cards we will be making at my hostess club later today. Excited to have my club girls make this card using some new products from the
Occasions Catalog.
Speaking of hostess clubs I am currently starting an online/virtual hostess club Jan or Feb depending on interest.
Each club consists of 10 members. The commitment to place $15.00 a month for 10 months in my online store with a hostess code that will be used plus shipping directly from StampinUp. Thanks for stopping by today. I have been missing in action lately on the design team. After my dads passing in September its been all I can do to keep up with it all personally and for my business. Thru my dads passing I have learned that I have to take time for myself. Some of my business things had to be on hold and that was ok to have to do that. The design team has been patient with me and very supportive thru this time! I am back now!
I used to shy away from sketches especially the ones without measurements given. I keep challenging myself with trying card sketches. It doesn’t have to be exact as the sketch either. It’s just a guideline as inspiration.
I started out by choosing my designer series paper and coordinating card stock.
The card today is based on the sketch challenge for this month. Over on the SSINKspiration Blog you will find more inspiration using this sketch.

Yeah it’s time for our monthly Inspire, Create and Share blog hop!
This month our theme is I am Dreaming of a White Christmas and we’re showcasing ideas using a white on white! We hope you enjoy this beautiful hop and will become inspired to give the white on white look a try!
I decided for my card to use the awesome Cable Knit Embossing Folder! I have featured this folder at some recent events and everyone loves it!
White on white challenge was totally new to me. I LOVE the outcome of just adding a little touch of color as I have done with the designer paper at the bottom. I will be doing this type of card for sure!

Time for our monthly Inspire, create and SHARE blog hop!
This month we are doing something new for us! We are featuring October Paper Pumpkin!
I knew right away when I saw my kit come in the mail that one of those stamps would be great to make a background for my card. It’s so easy just using the textured stamp to make a quick background. As you can see I just used a few of the items included in the kit to make my card.
Each month a different kit comes as a surprise to what the project is inside!
For my card I just added another an ink pad and an embellishment. I used a Sharpie brown marker on the White Perfect Accents to coordinate with my card. Hard to see in this picture but I added the Wink of Stella on the thanks and around the edges of the Cajun Craze layer for added sparkle!
