Today I am grateful that my Dr did give me another cortisone shot in my shoulder. He hopes this is the last one needed.
Today for day 10 of my challenge I want to share this cool video done from Stampin’ Up! to keep us all inspired with different techniques.
I haven’t done this technique for a long time. Time to get out the supplies and design a card soon.
Today I am grateful today for my dr appt for tomorrow. Having some shoulder issues and need to go have a followup appt. Grateful cause I just called today and expected it would be at least a few weeks to get in. When the receptionist told me tomorrow I was shocked! Most of the times it’s the little things that we need to be grateful for.
Today I wanted to share how I found about rubber stamping and Stampin’ Up! on day nine of my blog challenge.
18 years ago when I was living in IL a friend from my church asked me to come to her stamping party. I was excited to be asked to come. My first words to her was “Is this a postage stamp party?” I had no clue what she was talking about. she explained to me its making cards and its fun. I said, “I am not creative in that way”. I decided I would still go and check it out. I had a blast at the party.
The demonstrator was patient with me as I had lots of questions for you as you can imagine not being creative with these products. I remember not feeling too overwhelmed and it was fun. I loved the feeling I got with the instant gratification as I started creating my card and how quickly I was actually stamping and making this card. As, you can see I still have and cherish my very first card. I know its not perfect…. But, its handmade by me!
Fast forward three years from the party and we moved here to AZ. I was invited to a Stampin’ Up! party by my friend Tina. Went to the party and signed up to be a demonstrator shortly after that JUST for the discount. I was NOT going to show the products, have parties and just order for myself. That didn’t last long. From my first open house here at my house within a month of signing up I knew I could do this and my love for the products and experiencing that first time of their stamping moment with my customers I knew I wanted to share these products and have fun! I started earning free stamp sets within three months of starting my business!
Fifteen years now I still have the passion to inspire others and help them find or use their creative side. Some customers are more creative than me and I get inspired from them!
Grateful today for being introduced to this wonderful form of art called rubber stamping!
Welcome to week two of my month long challenge. Day 8
I am so grateful for the many opportunities I have with my business to inspire others with stamp sets, ink pads and card stock.
About three or four Mondays monthly I go teach an hour card making with some ladies at a retirement center in town called Villa Hermosa. It is so fun helping them create their very first card and seeing the excitement on their faces! I have met some wonderful ladies thru this fun experience. That hour goes by so quickly. I had a brand new lady today make her first card!
One of the kits that the retirement center bought for the class is the Oh Happy Day Kit. It is perfect for them as they like to make all kinds of cards depending on what occasion they want to make cards for.

Thanks for coming back to Day 7 of my challenge. If you have missed any posts this past week I invite you to catch up what I have been posting for the last 7 days. Variety of topics and I hope you enjoy them all.
I used to do this type of post on Sundays but it has been a long time.
It goes with what I am grateful today. That is my faith! As I have shared this week about some losses in my family goes hand in hand with today’s thoughts. Without my faith loosing my dad and then loosing one of my brothers so soon after it would have made me bitter. I have always believed things happen for a reason.
I turn to music a lot to help me get thru some hard times for myself or family and friends going thru something. This particular song has helped me personally so many times. I remember singing it to my brother in February and it was such a special time for us that day. I was singing thru my tears.
Next week come back and I will be sharing my story on how I began making cards!
Also next week going to share some fun pictures from some awesome trips I have went on just by sharing my passion with others and inspiring my team as much as I can to share their passion too!
Today I am grateful for the cooler mornings here in Tucson to take my dog to the dog park before it gets too hot. Funny story yesterday I shut my door and realized I had the mail key instead of my house key. Thankful my son and daughter in law live very close and was able to walk and get his key so I could get back inside. It was already hot by then. No walk to the park. I made it up to Meeko today though. It was great to enjoy the weather and we both got exercise.
Today to inspire you I am sharing this beautiful card from a fellow demonstrator!
Come back tomorrow to see what I post about.
Thanks!
