Day Five Grateful For My Friends

Welcome back to day five of my long month challenge.

Grateful today for my supportive friends. My friends always know what to say to keep encouraging me with my business. I get the support from my friends that are not my customers too. When my friends come across someone looking to get into card making or memory keeping they send them my way. I love that and really appreciate that! I love sharing how fun it is!

Today was a good day at my networking meeting. Seeing and catching up with friends there.  Been a long time I was there last. Yesterdays blog post with the blog hop I shared a little about my brother and his short battle with cancer. I brought a card I had made for him at a networking meeting and everyone that was in attendance signed it and I mailed it out. When I went back for my brothers funeral my niece showed me the card. I opened it up and saw all the names again. Many other friends sent him cards too. I also saw those and that was a special time to read all your cards. I know he loved them all!

So, as you can tell card making is so much more than just stamping a card.

Come back tomorrow for my Friday weekly color challenge.

ICS -Blog Hop Ribbon of Courage

Woo Hoo it’s the first Wednesday of the month you know what that means RIGHT?
ICS Blog hop time! Our theme this month is Colors of Courage.
This theme was a tough one for so many of us on the team. Cancer hits so many of us.

Personally my family has had some losses due to cancer. My brother Joe who was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma on Jan 25, 2017. What a shock and so unexpected when we found out. Thought he might be having a stroke and being told its cancer. When he found out it had already spread to his brain. I was blessed to go and help him for two weeks in Feb in Kansas. Was part of his support system as he was facing treatments that included radiation. It was so hard to see him like that. We had some special times while I was there that I will cherish forever.

He was a fighter and was determined to live. Sad to say less than four months his fight was over on May 20.
I decided to make this card for a friend of mine that recently has lost a family member.

Enjoy your next stop for more inspiration to see what Joni has for us!

Stampin’ Blends and Grateful for my stamping team

Welcome back to day four of my long month challenge.

Today I am grateful for my stamping team. I have a team called D’S Stamping Team USA. I have some in locally as well as thru out the USA. When I came up with my name I already had some team members that aren’t local to me
I try to inspire them and encourage them all I can.

If you saw yesterdays post you read about the loss of two family members of mine in such a short time. My team was patient with me and understood that I needed to time to heal. I feel so blessed with my present team members and ones that have pursued other ventures. Everyone one of them has touched or are touching my life and inspire me to keep doing what I love! My current and past team has helped me earn my last two incentive trips due to their hard work and efforts.

Speaking of being a demonstrator on my team. Here is a direct link to sign up and join my growing team!

There so many reasons to join right now. As a current demonstrator or you can choose these in your starter kit are these brand new Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. We used to have a similiar product and their were so issues with those.

These are new and improved and the issues have been addressed and are now ready to try them out! There only available to demonstrators and just for a short time October 15th is the last day to order them.

There is no release date as of yet for customers to be able to purchase. I will keep you informed of the release date as soon as I know!

I invite you to sign up for my email updates that can be found on the right hand side at the top of my blog to keep informed of further details as well as when I post on my blog.

Grateful for my family

Thanks for coming back to visit me on day three of my challenge.

If you have been reading my blog since October 1 you already know I am sharing one thing I am grateful every day.

Today its about being grateful for my family. Especially my mom and dad and my brothers and my sisters.

This picture was taken July 2016. I will cherish this memory forever.  Last picture as a complete family with my dad and one of my brothers as they are both reunited together in Heaven. My dad passed Sept 2016 and my brother May 2017.

My family is also encouraging me to keep doing what I love! They are very supportive in so many ways.

Decided today to make day three of the challenge more personal and just make it about my family.

If you want to catch up on why I am doing this challenge you can read the post on October 1
